In this article we are going to discuss about how modern house floor plans looks like and how you can use this floor plan for your home design.

Let's move to the first modern floor plan design.

(1) 1150 sq. ft.(24'x48') modern house floor plan design

This 24'x48 floor plan design consist of living room, kitchen with attached dinning, one master bedroom, one bedroom, common toilet and parking.

60 sq. ft. otta is provided for sitting outside the home in a natural environment.

Shoe rack can be provided at parking area or at otta.

Depending on your requirements, the  dimensions of individual rooms can be changed.

There are two entry points are provided, one from the living room and second one from the kitchen.

Provision of two entry points in a house make more comfort for living.

This house is designed for 6-8 people living in the ground floor, if you have a big family then you can extend this house in to two or three story house.

1570, let say 1600 sq. ft. house floor plan design is shown in above image.

If you have a requirements of a two medium size master bed room with a good arrangements of other amenities of house, then this rectangular floor plan is a perfect floor plan for you.

I have created a 3d floor plan with interior décor item and dimensions here.

This single floor planning contains hall, kitchen with dinning(without) partition, store room, two master bed room, common toilet and parking space.

If you need privacy in kitchen then you can provide decorative wooden partition wall of 5 to 9 inch thick.

Ventilation near the store area can also be provided if there is availability of space according to your final plot.

Italian marble in hall, kitchen and dinning area, wooden flooring in master bedroom, and mat finished 2'x2' vitrified tiles can be provided in this modern floor plan house design.

Wall dado also be used in the various location in this modern house design. Depending on your choice marble or tiles can be provided at wall dado.

Other thumb rule for finishing of this project can be kept in mind while executing this project.

Hire structure designer for RCC work of this project or you can design by your self if you are an engineer with good structural knowledge. You can follow my previous blog for designing beam, slab, etc.

Three rooms are provided in this modern house plan.

In this floor plan, I have separated three rooms into two master bedroom and one guest room, you can use it as per your requirement.

One bedroom contains large rectangular shaped bathroom with attached toilet with also provision of bathtub.

30 sq. ft. of common toilet and one toilet in master bed room of 35 sq. ft. are also provided in this modern house plan.

10'x10' square shaped store room is also provided in this house design.

650 sq. ft. size has utilized for providing hall, kitchen and dinning in this plan.

In this modern era, hall, kitchen and dinning without looks cool but for the privacy reason you can separate it with stylish wooden partition wall or designer glass partition wall.

13'x10' feet of otta is provided at the entry side of this house.

In the right side of this modern house design floor plan, small sized sitting arrangement is provided for peace with the natural elements like plants and trees.

If you have a good budget, then you can also provide some decorative items like good textured wall, wall paintings, wall fountains, you can also place gazebo it will look much attractive for you and for your guest.

Parking space is arranged at the left side of this house plan.

The dimensions of windows, ventilator and doors can be modified by your requirement.

Hiring a good contractor, vendors, structure designer will make your house construction more smooth and easy.

Proper RCC and finishing execution work with good planning will save your money and time and also gives you a good quality work.

(4) 1288 sq. ft. (28'x46') modern house floor plan design

In this image, 28'x46' plot size floor plan design is shown.

14'x22' feet hall is provided with provision of TV unit.

Dinning table is placed in hall in front of kitchen to ease of placing food in the dining table.

13'x16' feet kitchen is arranged at the right side of the floor plan for proper ventilation.

Almost similar size of master bedroom and bedrooms are also provided.

One common toilet and one toilet in bedroom of 35 sq. ft. is provided in this modern floor plan house design.

Parking of 16'x12' (one four wheel) is also provided at the front part of this house.

Only one main entry is provided in this modern house plan, if you need two entry in this house, then you can provide two entry one at hall and second at kitchen.

Light weight structure design can be done as this floor plan is geometrically simple rectangular in shape.

Pooja room can also be set up in the hall section if you required.

Wooden flooring in bedrooms and white or grey shade vitrified tiles or marble stone in hall kitchen and dinning area is preferred floor living comfort.

Whitish color combination in walls are preferred for looking more spacious and peaceful living.

30'x50' plot size modern house floor plan design is shown in above image.

In this 1500 sq. ft. house floor plan a spacious hall or living room of 300 sq. ft. is provided with attached dinning and in opposite side of the hall, kitchen of 13'x11' feet is provided without partition.

You can create a decorative partition wall to separate the kitchen and having privacy in the kitchen area.

One bed room, one master bedroom and one guest room, total three rooms are provided in the ground floor of the house.

One common toilet with decorative wash basin out side the toilet is provided for aesthetical purpose.

16'x15' of parking space is available in this modern floor plan.

Flowerbed can be placed at the outside of the house to look it more stylish.

Shoe rack and other amenities can also be placed at the parking area.

In this house floor plan design, simplicity is kept in mind while I was designing.

Simple, stylish, spacious, comfort is the key for a living in a house.

A bit square shaped floor plan is shown in this modern house floor plan design.

30'x6' feet size of otta is provided for sitting outside the home.

Living room and kitchen is provided in common space in this floor plan.

One bedroom and one master bed room is provided in this plan.

Two main entry is provided in this floor plan. One at hall and second at master bedroom.
